  1. I have used Khan academy in the past, and I can attest that it is a great resource! If I can find a pertinent video that I think will help my students learn, I sent them the link in an email and ask them to watch it before our next session. I also used quizlet in high school; it's very helpful for generating quick quizes or for providing an opportunity to run through flashcards. I had forgotten about that resource, but I will be sure to pass it along to my students. I did not know about the other resources on this post, but they seem awesome and I'm excited to try them out!

  2. I've heard of Khan academy but have never actually given it a try. After reading this, I checked it out, and it seems like an excellent resource! I'll definitely pass this on to my students, and my friends too. I'm working on compiling a list of the resources I like to use best for each class that I tutor, so I'm sure this one will make the list in the future!

Khan Academy is a great resource to use when you are having a really difficult time understanding certain concepts. Subjects like physics and mathematics require a lot of practicing with problems. Khan Academy shows you step-by-step in how to implement key concepts when you are solving problems. Also, there are many videos on YouTube where other people show the viewer how to solve problems. There are many resources out there that are very useful when studying (especially now during finals week). I am having a really hard time with organic chemistry, and I will make sure to use this tool for future courses that I am having a difficult time with.
