Encouraging Involvement
The middle of the semester is always busy with midterms,
homework, and activities. Campus has a lot to offer, and it’s important to
emphasize the exciting events going on around us to your students. Whether it
is something you’re passionate about, or something that you found and think
they may be interested in, we encourage you to tell your students about these
events. Here are some highlights for the next few weeks!
- Global Health Week (Nov 3-8) <http://www.globalhealthweekuw.org/>

- Involvement through volunteering*: http://www.today.wisc.edu/events/tag/volunteerism
*Another way for students to get involved is through volunteering.
Applications for Badger Volunteers (a semester-long commitment is required) are opening in January, but is something to think about
(http://morgridge.wisc.edu/badger-volunteers.htm).
These are tons of other volunteering opportunities to think about as well through the Morgridge Center!
